YMCA Austin Northwest’s Explorer Point is centered around the theme of Groves and Caves. This theme reflects the surrounding area of YMCA Northwest, as well as highlights the unique grove just outside the front doors. Central to this theme are trees, caves, and natural colors such as greens and browns. The 1,700 sq ft Explorer Point is divided into five zones to support the needs of children ages 0-12. These zones are divided into the following groups: Art & Programs, Baby Area (0-2), Active Play, Sensory & Reading Nook, and STEM.
