With the launch of a new five-year strategic plan, Weber State University’s Marketing Department has hired Process Curiosity twice to facilitate a design and team-building annual department retreat. To kick off the promotion and execution of this new plan, University Marketing & Communications, Process Curiosity ran a one-day interdepartmental planning retreat. The retreat’s goals were to find new ways for team interaction, communicate strategic goals internally and externally, and focus on team building/shared ownership.
Our most recent project focuses on sprinkler function and visualizing water metering/data in the conservation garden. We created an interactive digital kiosk that shows the usage of many watering systems and informs the end user how to minimize their water usage, and use its connected mobile app. This allows guests to input their yard size and then compare its potential water use to a more efficient system. Users see how much water different landscape designs need. We also designed an outdoor exhibit that activates different sprinkler types and shows the required watering duration for each style. This information is displayed on a scoreboard-type screen, making it visually appealing.
