In preparation for redesigning the Museum’s Appalachia exhibition, Process Curiosity facilitated a design workshop with internal designers, stakeholders, and external thought-leaders to reimagine the possibilities for designing a new innovative exhibition. The workshop aimed to engage management, staff, stakeholders, and the museum core team in a focused set of discussions and activities that examine different aspects of the Museum’s aspirations for its Edge of Appalachia exhibition. Over two days, the workshop explored aspects of audiences (new and existing), STEAM concepts and practices, engagement strategies, spaces and missions, and exhibition goals.
