The Ozark Bathhouse, located in Hot Springs National Park, was built in 1922 and is one of the original 8 bathhouses in the park. Process Curiosity partnered with Mid-America Science Museum to transform the space into a highly immersive and interactive experience. The 4,300 sq ft space has 5 rooms that invite the guests to venture under the mountain and experience the folklore that surrounds the National Park and the bathhouse. The Bathhouse includes a water table, mirrored and sequin walls, dragons, and an immersive video room, with each room having interactive components to help shape the story of Under the Mountain. Each room has its own unique vibe and specialized materials.
