Honeycomb groves and crawl-through caves for a YMCA family space — gross-motor play tucked into a nature narrative, built to welcome every age and ability.
This 1,700-square-foot exhibit offers STEM-based play, arts, active play, sensory experiences, and reading for kids ages 0–12, themed around trees, caves, and natural colors. Completed December 2023.
What success looked like
Success was 1,700 square feet where kids ages 0–12 climb through groves and caves into STEM play, art, sensory experiences, and reading — all in one family space.
