Mystic Ozark

About this project

A hot-springs water exhibit carved from sculpted rockwork — flowing water tables, mineral-pool textures, and a local-history timeline that roots the science in the landscape outside the museum's doors.

Located in a historic bathhouse in Hot Springs National Park, the museum refresh follows the journey of water through the hot springs and the folklore surrounding it. We created interactive elements with lighting, water, custom 360 projection mapping, and materials that bring the story to life. Completed May 2025.

What success looked like

Success was a historic bathhouse telling its own story — water, light, and 360° projection mapping tracing the journey of the hot springs and their folklore. The $2 million attraction opened in the 1922 Ozark Bathhouse on May 17, 2025, in partnership with the National Park Service — and the client said it best:

“Process Curiosity has done remarkable work in creating the interactive experience of Mystic Ozark and crafting a compelling narrative.”
